shooting Hi-Def on the Sony 900 for 'Wooden Soul'.

 


I first began in the film and television industry at the tender age of 17 as a special effects runner. Working on such films as Tobe Hooper's Lifeforce, Supergirl, Return to Oz and Batman had a profound effect on me. Watching the camera crew at work I quickly realised that was were I wanted to be.

After finishing my degree in graphic design I worked briefly for a newspaper running their art department. From there I joined the Edit Works where I trained under Barry Noakes of the Shooting Crew. Working with a varied circle of cameramen gave me a solid grounding, guidence from the likes of Peter Morgan and John Boyce was brilliant.

For the last five years I have enjoyed shooting and lighting varied programmes from sit-comms, prime time documentaries and commercials to short films.
